The Siddhi of Annapurna

I had to see my doctor before having my cataract surgery done in the next few weeks. I was early and she was on time. She’s been out for a few weeks and I was so happy to see her again. She is from India and has a lovely bedside manner.

After that duty was discharged I had lunch at Ted’s. The license tag ahead of me read “THANKFL1.”

I ordered bison meat loaf with mashed potatoes, bringing half home to Rob. Also got a snickerdoodle cookie. Yum.

Before I parked in the garage next to Macy’s, a white car was racing around the garage like crazy. Luckily, it sped out before I got out of the car. Things are not like they used to be, anywhere.

So I have been off Facebook for about a month now. Long enough to see the benefit. There is a price to pay for everything. I have fewer readers now and fewer people watch my videos. The tradeoff is that I get more people that are serious and fewer that are just killing time while waiting for an appointment, etc.

This inner practice of waking up takes everything you’ve got. I am discovering that solitude multiplies just like stress does, so I seek solitude.

If you don’t have any right now, take some of mine. It’s the Siddhi of Annapurna, multiplying effortlessly.
