“Lotus in the Mud” is my latest ebook, and perhaps my last. It is a collection of my essays from the last few years. The older I get, the simpler I write, if that is possible. Those who know me know that I am given to brevity and if possible, a bit of wit and wisdom.

Since I have so few blog readers, I am asking for a donation to the blog instead of setting a price for it. You can only get it here, so if you don’t like it, you can return it….smile.

I always write from the stream of consciousness, so there will be some rocks and mud mixed in with the truth as I see it.

I am not getting any younger, so I am cutting to the chase, as it were.

Enlightened people may exist, but I don’t know any of them (and I doubt I would like them very much.)

For me, writing is an adventure into fun, even though the subject matter may be serious.

I started out writing for comedians, as many of you know.

Nowadays it is the few who gather round my blog to get a bit of warmth. Who knows how long it will last?
