Dear Friends,
I apologize for leaving you in the lurch while I re-engage Swami Z, my fictional guru. (And please don’t tell him that. He assumes, like all of us do, that he is real.)
The Trumpster is a dumpster diver. He will go to any extreme to smear Joe Biden. I have had it up to here with him, so I took a wee break.
Everyone world-wide is being threatened by the virus and our President continues to downplay it. I have not eaten out since the first week in March. We did go through the drive-through at Chick-Fil-A twice, but that hardly counts.
I am loving the fifties vibe in our neighborhood. Our street is not a through-street and a young couple live at the end on one side. They have a toddler and have to keep her entertained. What her dad did was to set up a circle marked out with chalk where he can ride his daughter around in a little cart he puts her in. A few older kids ride their bikes around it, too. It is wonderful to watch them ride ‘round and ‘round in a circle marked: “Camp Corona.”
We see our next-door neighbors only when we are out in the yard or taking walks. Everyone waves hello and we recognize that this return to the neighborhood is very refreshing.
I continue to read books ordered from amazon, while my library books sit on the desk gathering dust. No telling when they will re-open.
Buy one of my ebooks here on my site. I guarantee your enjoyment or your donation will be returned. Okay, it tickles me to death to get donations. Puts a sparkle in my eye.
P.S. You have to order “A Guru in the Guest Room” on amazon.com.
Love to all,
Vicki
