It Ain’t Easy….

Being a Beacon of Truth (It ain’t easy.)

Someone was kind enough to call me a beacon of truth. That means there is a reason why I am a solitary. Lighthouses stand alone. There is no ego in standing alone because that nonsense has been kicked out of you long ago.

Vernon Howard saw to it that his students understood their worth. They had none. Only as they admitted this could they make any inner progress at all. (And outer progress is an illusion.)

So what I am saying in a roundabout way is that beacons are not a part of the world. They illuminate what lies beyond it. And every beacon stands alone.

My ego is shot through with failure and misguided ideas of progress, just as is yours. Let’s face it, God knew what He was doing when He crucified his son. It had to be that way. If you are asking why, you have not taken the first step on the way of return.

I can testify to my solitude and my fearsome trials all day long and only those with ears to hear will nod as they read. They are the ones that know how hopeless it is to try and advance one step on the inner way without shedding tears and blood.

You have to be deserted. You must be persecuted. Never mind nonduality and its tidy little trip of saying “I am” and being done with it.

The truth is merciless to anything false in you.

Enough is enough. Let the chips fall where they may. I love being deserted and misunderstood.

Success is not an option. The only way out is through, so be through with this world and you will come to know yourself as you really are.

  1. The flame you cast is getting brighter each day. “You have to be deserted. You must be persecuted. Never mind nonduality and its tidy little trip of saying “I am” and being done with it.” I love it, Vicki. You, my dear, are on a roll. Carry onward and upward, my friend.
