Finding Comfort

“I do not belong here.” Those words can be said by anyone, either mechanically or consciously. Most of us say them the first way, with a feeling of resentment.

Esoteric Christianity is about becoming familiar with the words of Christ in an ever-deepening way. “I do not belong here,” means you know consciously that you do not belong in a sleeping society.

The masses cannot escape; there is simply not enough available energy. Escape is for the few. And even then, there is no guarantee.

Let the words of Jesus speak to you consciously, as if He was right there with you. Hear him say, “My kingdom is not of this world.”

So here you have an opening into the higher world. What will you do with it? Will you go exploring today? How do I find a place in me that is not of the world I live in mechanically?

I gently suggest that you enter the silence of your heart, the place in you that is wordless. There you will find the Comforter.

  1. If you are troubled about going against your own best interests to fit in with a sleeping world, say this,
“In the name of all that is good and holy, I am not going along with you this time. For once in my life, I am going to serve my true interests instead of deserting myself. I have had enough self-desertion to last me a lifetime.”

    1. Last night I dreamt I had on a new pair of leather shoes that were so comfortable. I even ran through snow in them. They were a gift from someone I did not know and I was so pleased at how well they fit.
