A True Surrender

There is no free will on this planet; none at all. It may seem like we decide to do different things, but if it were not His Will, we would not be doing what we “think” we are doing. He is doing it and we are serving Him.

There will always be people who argue that they are in charge of their lives. According to Edgar Cayce, all we have control of are our attitudes and emotions as to what is destined to happened. Destiny rules the day. It is not up to us to agonize over decisions but to humbly remember that we are choiceless; the will of God is always done.

When bad things happen, it is not that God is bad. It is that we cannot know the will of the Higher. Let us have the humility to admit that.

I will possibly get negative reactions from people reading this and that is okay.

Someone once told me this in regard to a decision that seemed to be looming ahead of her. “I can’t stay and I can’t go. I will have to wait and see what I do.” And that is what she was telling me. That personality is powerless right up to the end.

Humility, love and trust are the gateways to God’s will being done without complaint.
