The universe showed up today.
It never ever goes away.
Can’t save it for a rainy day.
I must greet it right away.

Embrace me now, I told the sun.
For I am you and we are one.
Hold me in your arms, dear moon
for you are love and none too soon.

The littlest angels hover round as
deep as mighty mountains proud.
The darkest demons in my head
are just created by my dread.

I hug the demons close to me
so that they, too, can be free.
Inside, outside, round we go.
The universe and I now meet
in love so whole I touch its feet.
